Going forward we will use a mail list to broadcast to Troop members about Troop events and announcements. Below are some benefits to switching over to this service:
- Use an email address that you would like to use, no more email being sent to your work email address if you so choose.
- Opt In/Opt Out, you no longer have to wait to be added to all the distribution list on all the leader’s computers.
- Privacy, you no longer need to worry about your email address being harvested for use in spam email.
Again, this is by no means to take the place of your Patrol Leaders communications responsibility, this is just an additional way of communicating.
